Find your community, troubleshoot, and ease your mind! Sleep can be a tough and touchy topic, so let’s come together and find some ease. In this workshop, you will: meet your community members who may also be struggling with sleep, ease your worries, learn about true biological sleep norms, be comforted with a bit of predictability learning what to expect and when, bust some myths, and learn some truths surrounding why sleep is the way it is.
Learn some truly gentle approaches to nudging sleep in the right direction ‍whether you are already navigating sleep with your little or you are expecting, this is a great time to dive into this topic to set yourself up to have realistic expectations of what is to come in the first few months and years. This class uses evidence-based invaluable sleep knowledge as well as practical parenting tools to set the stage for healthy sleep for the whole family. Join us to soak in knowledge about normal sleep, and how you can support it.
We cover: Infant sleep: expectations vs. reality, sleep myths busted, what brain development has to do with sleep, normal sleep patterns, why waking is good, tricky times & sweet spots to be expected, ensuring safe sleep, creating a nursery that will actually work for you, top gentle tools and strategies to support parenting to sleep, and more! ‍
Julia is a Certified Infant Sleep Educator and there is no sleep training promoted in this field, rather, all responsive parenting approaches to help our littles and us get better sleep. This workshop will entail approximately one hour of presented material and 30 minutes of discussion and Q&A. Baby is welcome to join us for this workshop, I look forward to meeting you all!
