Join Liesbeth every Friday morning for gentle gardening to keep the Swanns Road Corner Parklet looking amazing and developing the site into a lush corner of biodiversity.
9 am–10 am Fridays
These “gentle gardening” sessions are a great way to ease into the weekend — helping with weeding, mulching, and soon, some native planting too.
Bring gloves and your favourite tools (or use ours), and enjoy a peaceful hour tending to this special spot co-cared for with Richmond Community Garden and Christchurch City Council.
Pop by and lend a hand, if only for a few minutes or an hour. Make it your Friday morning routine. Then walk or bike the City-to-Sea Pathway and pop by the Riverlution Cafe next door for a hot drink.
