Join us for 6, 1-hour sessions of Gentle Garden Yoga. Where? You guessed it!... OUTSIDE amongst Olbrich’s (stunning) Botanical Gardens. There's no better place to practice than surrounded by the beauty & nourishment of nature. Let's utilize nature's gifts to get present. See the blue sky & billowy clouds as you salute the sun in your extended mountain pose. Feel the radiant sun & light breeze on your skin, hear the birds chirping all around, ground into the earth as you rest in savasana. Absorb the innately healing benefits of your yoga practice and the connection to nature simultaneously.
In this series your instructor will kindly guide you through gentle, opening postures using the breath and a focused mind. Some postures will gently strengthen, and others will flow with the breath to break up stress and tension that gets built up in the body from everyday life. Overall this practice will leave you feeling more open, free & uplifted in your body, mind & spirit.
This practice is accessible to all-levels and modifications will be provided. Class will be inside if the weather is not suitable for yoga outdoors.
Please bring your own mat and water bottle. You may want other yoga props, sunglasses, & sun protection. We will meet just outside the doors to the gardens to determine where class will be held. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early the first day so we can walk as a group to our spot in the gardens.
***There will NOT be class on July 4th.
