Please join us for the launch of New Lines’ report on “The Hazara Genocide: An Examination of Breaches of the Genocide Convention in Afghanistan.” The panel of experts will discuss the current situation of the Hazaras in Afghanistan, the legal implications of the report’s analysis and findings, and how to ensure that Hazaras receive justice and accountability. The panel event will be followed by a reception and a visual exhibition of artwork by Hazara artists and photographs capturing the aftermath of attacks on the community. Together, these pieces offer a deeply visual and moving portrayal of lives lost, resilience in the face of violence, and a community targeted for extermination.
