About this Event
League members are invited to a special closing event of the Generative Histories Harlem exhibition at the Spitzer School of Architecture!
Event details
Designed by board member Jerome Haferd, the Generative Histories Harlem exhibition celebrates the themes, research, and pedagogical principles of the Harlem Place, Memory, & Culture Incubator. Launched in 2023 and supported by the Mellon Foundation, the incubator aims to redefine the role of preservation in the face of ongoing urban transformations in Harlem. The exhibition showcases work by Spitzer students and includes documents, clips, and other ephemera that index the collaborative relationship with a growing ecosystem of Harlem community partners and interlocutors.
