Bradford County played a pivotal role during the American Revolution. The area was the setting for one of the most significant campaigns of the era, known as the Sullivan Expedition. In the summer of 1779, this military campaign aimed to destroy Native American settlements, their homes, and crops, while confronting the Loyalists who had contributed to widespread bloodshed, suffering, and destruction along the frontiers of New York and Pennsylvania since the onset of the conflict.
Created, produced, and narrated by Steve Berwick, this documentary is the result of more than a year of planning, research, and filming. Through visuals and detailed storytelling, viewers will experience the story of Sullivan's March as it unfolded across our region.
This project was made possible through the support and collaboration of the Bradford County Historical Society and the Sayre Historical Society as part of the America 250 commemoration.
🍿 Concessions will be open during the event.
Bring your family, invite your friends, and enjoy this unique opportunity to explore an important chapter of local history on the big screen. Admission is free and all are welcome.
