Steve is a highly respected collegiate basketball coach and athletic leader with over 30 years of experience developing high-performing student-athletes on and off the court. As the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, he has led the program to more than 700 wins, multiple national tournament appearances, and a strong legacy of character-driven leadership.
Known for his unwavering commitment to excellence, Coach Ridder emphasizes servant leadership, academic achievement, and personal growth. Under his guidance, Embry-Riddle has produced over 60 NAIA Scholar-Athletes and maintained a culture rooted in integrity, discipline, and teamwork.
A passionate speaker and mentor, Coach Ridder is frequently sought after for his insights on leadership, culture-building, and sports performance. His dynamic approach inspires individuals and organizations alike to pursue greatness with purpose and heart.
