Overview

Here at the Christie Haematology at Satellite Centres we deal with a range of Haematology issues covering blood morphology, haemostasis, ITP, Lymphadenopathy, Haemoglobinopathy and all associated symptoms. This study day is designed to meet the needs of a range of health professionals, to develop knowledge within the different general haematology pathways.

Intended Audience

Primary Care - GP`s, District Nurse, community team ( IV teams)

Secondary Care- ward / junior Drs, nurses, AHP's, CNS teams

Tertiary Care- newly qualified nurses, AHP's, refresher for existing staff

Also, any other healthcare professionals interested in the different general haematology pathways

Venue Information

The Christie Education Centre is located on the 2nd floor in Dept 17 of the main hospital and can be accessed by stairs or lift. Toilets are also on this floor including an accessible toilet. The auditorium has a hearing loop available and ramp access. A prayer room is available and close by. We want everyone attending our event in person to have the best possible experience.
