The Hartford Players are excited to announce auditions for Matilda the Musical! Join us as we bring this beloved, high-energy story of courage, imagination, and a little bit of mischief to the stage. Directed by Jerry Becker.

Performers of all experience levels are encouraged to audition. Whether you're brand new to theatre or a seasoned performer, we’d love to see you there! ✨

Saturday, May 16
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Young Performer Auditions
Young performers (ages 10–14) should plan to attend this audition block.
If a young performer absolutely cannot attend during this time, they may attend one of the general audition sessions. However, please note that performers age 15+ will be the primary focus of the production staff during the general audition times.
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM | General Auditions
For performers age 15 and older.
Please note that we will be limiting the number of applicants in this audition block. A sign-up for the limited number of slots will be posted soon. These are not individual audition appointments; the sign-up simply helps us manage the number of participants.
