Genealogy Workshop: Part 4 - Land Records
Advertisement
In Part 4 of our genealogy series, you’ll learn how to use land records to find out more about your ancestry. Early land records listed the names of the entire family including children, as well as where they came from and where they were going if they were selling the property and moving elsewhere. We will show you examples of what type of information can be found in these land records.
Presented by professional genealogist, Greg Thompson and the Stratford Historical Society Research Chair and Registrar for the Sons of the American Revolution, Ethan Stewart.
