Genealogy Techniques: Newspaper Research
About this Event
Co-sponsored by Santa Clara County Historical and Genealogy Society and Santa Clara City Library, Genealogy Techniques examines different strategies and tools for effective genealogy. Each class, we do a deep dive into a one topic to learn how to add this tool or process into our personal genealogy toolbox. This is not a beginner course, but genealogists of all levels should find something in each session that will help advance their research. This class is led by Nancy Moffett.
October 14, 2026 - Newspaper Research in the US - Discover the wealth of genealogical information hidden in newspapers, offering details on births, deaths, marriages, and social events not found elsewhere.
