Find out as our panel of presenters, drawn from the membership of the Northwest Indiana Genealogical Society, make their case for their favorite desktop app. These days online sites get most of the attention, but desktop programs can be invaluable for keeping track of your genealogical research. Attend this session to learn about the capabilities, benefits, and potential limitations of a variety of desktop genealogy applications. If you have a favorite desktop genealogy program that you use and would be willing to talk about it let us know. If your program is not already represented, there may be a spot on the panel for you.
