Interested in researching your family history, but don't quite know where to start. The Genealogy and Texas History Room will be open and available for dedicated research on Monday evenings in October for Family History Month. Whether you need help using a database, researching vital records, or just a hand getting started, then the library is the place for you to drop in. Library staff will be assisted by Robert Cruit, Vice President of the West Texas Genealogical Society, who has extensive experience researching family histories. You can explore our collection, research our archives, or just learn a bit about what's out there before diving into your own history search.
