GenAI in Production: Human-Centered Systems & Reliability
Getting AI to work in a demo is one thing. Making it reliable, useful and adopted in production is another.
In this edition of the GenAI Community Valencia Meetup, we’ll explore two sides of the same challenge: how to build AI systems that people can actually use and trust, and how to engineer AI-driven development workflows that remain predictable as complexity grows.
Two talks. Two perspectives. One shared question: what does it really take to make AI work in production?
🎤 Built for Data, Not for Humans
Mayela Zambrano
Data & AI Consultant and Strategist
Most AI projects don’t fail because the model is wrong. They fail because we build for data instead of the people who have to act on it.
Drawing on real implementations across healthcare, wealth management and industrial operations, Mayela will unpack why technically strong systems still get ignored, and why removing the “human layer” can quietly break things once AI reaches production.
You’ll leave with three questions to ask before building anything, and a sharper understanding of where the real work of AI often lives: not in the model itself, but in the human decision it is meant to support.
About Mayela
Mayela Zambrano helps companies turn AI potential into working systems. With a PhD in Linguistics and Natural Language Processing and a background in data engineering, she implements LLM, RAG and machine learning solutions end to end, from requirements to production.
She works with companies across the US and Spain.
🎤 Taming the AI: A Pragmatic Approach to SDD
Deniz Matar
Founder at Ditra
Spec-Driven Development (SDD) is changing how software is built with AI. But moving beyond basic workflows introduces a new set of architectural challenges.
Deniz will explore how SDD behaves across different real-world environments: using AI as a proactive architectural partner in Greenfield projects, while enforcing consistency through constitutions in complex Brownfield systems.
The session will cover practical approaches to token optimization, context rot and heavy pipelines, as well as how existing SDD frameworks can be combined, customized and adapted to achieve more deterministic outcomes.
Expect a pragmatic 30-minute guide to making AI-assisted development more predictable and production-ready.
About Deniz
Deniz Matar is an entrepreneur and the founder of Ditra, an AI consultancy and automation agency specialized in tailored AI agents and complex automated business workflows.
