The Artist

Penelope Andronico is a 24-year-old emerging artist based in Milan and Venice, who devotes her daily commitment to the study and practice of the Visual Arts, with the aim of conveying a shared and collective vision through her work. Her training is rooted in dance, and her research focuses on the many nuances of bodily movement, also through her collaboration with the contemporary dance company Bagart Ballet Company. She is the creator of Architetture Organiche (Organic Architectures), a performative and participatory project, active since 2023, that uses the body, movement and relation to create mutable collective structures. Alongside her artistic research she teaches contemporary dance and free movement, and studies Theatre and Performing Arts at IUAV University of Venice, with an interest in contemporary stage and performance realities and in the anti-performative dimension of performance dynamics.
