GeekFest 2026: Monstros'City
This year’s theme is Monstros’City: a day celebrating the makers behind the monsters. Every kaiju film has a crew you never see. Foam, paint, glue guns and a whole city built by hand, just so it can get stomped. For one day, the school becomes that workshop. 🏙️
🎒 WHAT’S ON
• The Trading Post (the market): hand-picked makers, artists and collectors. Fan art, prints, handmade collectables, vintage toys and comics, and properly licensed figures. No dropshipping, no Temu slop, no AI-generated art.
• Featured artist Shane Copeland (@2kittenpawz), the hands behind this year’s artwork: a giant wall of his work, plus a live artist talk
• The Community Gallery
• Food and coffee traders
• Calm corners through the halls, for whenever someone needs a breather
• Cosplay is very welcome
More sightings coming soon. Hit “Going” and you’ll hear as each one lands. 👀
