What is "Fair Night"? Glacier Edge hosts Art, Author, and Science Fairs all in one night (along with a book fair and the delivery of online auction winnings).
The Science Fair takes place in the gymnasium where students present science projects, judges provide immediate feedback, and a medal and certificate are presented.
The Author Fair inspires young writers to share a creative story, book, poem, research project, or other written piece. Students are encouraged to read their pieces aloud or just showcase their work on Fair Night.
Students can submit an art piece for the Art Fair that is either created at school or at home. The Art Fair will be displayed in a hallway for everyone to enjoy and all artists will receive ribbons for participating.
The Scholastic Book Fair will be also be on Fair Night!
A PDF for ALL of the details regarding the Science Fair, Author Fair, and Art Fair will be emailed to families in early February.
