Join the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse for our 2026 Playday Series! Come enjoy a fun, family-friendly day of horsemanship, competition, and western tradition. Riders of all ages and experience levels are welcome.
2026 Playday Dates: March 28 • April 11 • May 9 • September 12 • October 10 • November 14
Rain Dates: May 16 & November 21
Performance Events: Horsemanship • Western Pleasure • Trail
Speed Events: Barrels • Straights • Poles • Mystery Class
Schedule: Performance books open at 7:45 AM. Trail opens at 9:00 AM. Speed-event books open at 12:00 PM, with Leadline beginning at 12:30 PM before the speed classes. Exhibitions are available before each speed class.
🏆 Awards: Buckles will be awarded 1st–3rd place in age divisions, and High Point saddles will be awarded in Junior, Senior, Adult & Super Senior divisions.
