Baraka Issabu – African Child
Issabu, a visionary pianist, music educator, Researcher, composer, arranger, and producer. His profound connection to the world of music has catapulted him to the forefront of Tanzania's music scene, where his passion pours into every performance, crafting mesmerizing melodies that leave audiences spellbound.
Issabu continues to push the boundaries of musical expression, weaving a rich tapestry of sound that transcends borders and cultures. Currently, he is working on his highly anticipated debut album, a culmination of his artistic vision and creative processes. This forthcoming album promises to showcase Issabu's unique blend of styles and cementing his position as pioneer of the style. Issabu's artis and the tic work release of his album attempts to be a testament to the power of music to unite, inspire, and uplift.
Why So Shy?
Why So Shy is an indie pop band founded in 2020. The band, formed by three friends, creates ambitious, multi-layered cinematic pop.
The music of why so shy consists of strong, emotionally charged melodies and rich harmonies, winding song structures, and production that reaches in multiple directions, sometimes growing epic in nature. The band's style, which combines electronic music production techniques with their sound, seamlessly shifts from indie pop to cinematic painting and progressive rock.
Influences can be heard from artists such as Radiohead, Little Dragon, King Crimson and Jeff Buckley. The lyrics are personal yet relatable, conveying universal themes through various means, sometimes through abstract imagery and at other times
through direct speech.

Global Club Nights (GCN) is a club series where people who deal and work with music gather with those who love and enjoy it, to celebrate and create a safe, inclusive, and creative environment. With live music, radio shows, seminars and workshops, the events attempt to build bridges between all music lovers and their communities.
Global Club Nights (GCN) closely collaborates with the Global music Department of Sibelius Academy and Cultural Centre Caisa.
