Established in 1986, the Gazley Škoda Karapoti Classic is the event that kick-started mountain biking Down Under. Based in Upper Hutt's spectacular Akatarawa Ranges near Wellington, this ol-school adventure ride combines a huge but achievable challenge on trails that are both historic and scenic.
Karapoti really is the one race on every mountain biker's wish list. The Classic 50k is the ultimate, but the 20k Challenge & Kids 5k are great intro's to the Karapoti experience. Entries are limited to 1000 starters, so enter now at https://www.karapoti.co.nz/.
