The story of Spain’s most iconic architect, Antoni Gaudi, from his childhood spent roaming its beaches, forests and mountains, to his final years spent dedicated to the realisation of his ultimate fantasy, the “Sagrada Familia”. It’s an utterly compelling and immensely moving story and the talk will cover not only the religious and Catalonian symbolism of his work, but also how he applied the lessons of nature to create both magnificent private mansions and a unique temple, as he saw it, worthy of God himself.
