Circular Communities Scotland Annual Conference 2024

Our annual conference is the pivotal event in the Circular Communities Scotland events calendar. It is a celebration of community reuse, repair and recycling projects and will shine a light on crucial factors that can both challenge and enable us to reach our unified goal of having a more circular economy here in Scotland. The conference provides a superb opportunity for the sector to come together in one space, to reconnect with one another and network.

We will welcome Dr Alasdair Allan, Minister for Climate Action to officially open the conference, speak and take questions from the floor, and we look forward to Dr Heather Reid OBE hosing the conference for us once more.

As always, we have an exciting line up of industry speakers and expert keynotes, diverse and engaging conversational breakout sessions and lots of opportunities to network and speak to exhibitors in The Market Place. In addition breakfast rolls, lunch, refreshments and a drinks reception are all included in your ticket price.

This year, our members have worked harder than ever under the intensifying pressures of the cost-of-living crisis to help protect our planet and provide for their communities.

Many have continued to be a lifeline to those in need, providing low-cost and sustainable alternatives to buying new, through reuse, repair, sharing and recycling.

The difference our members make is almost immeasurable, but we will be sharing and celebrating the scope and depth of their work by publishing our 2024 Annual Impact Report on the day. We will also look to the future and envision the true power of our sector to help Scotland become a world-leading circular nation.
