Be among the first in the nation to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary as Gatlinburg proudly hosts the nation’s first Independence Day parade! Join us for this historic and patriotic celebration as Gatlinburg kicks off America’s 250th anniversary in unforgettable fashion.
Date & Time:
Join us at 12:01 a.m. on July 4 for the first Independence Day celebration in the United States. Parade lineup begins at 11:59 p.m. on July 3.

You’ll be part of the first Independence Day parade in the nation, set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Smoky Mountains.
