In the month of April, we will be reading The Rose and the Thistle, by Laura Frantz. This beautiful story of faith, love, and sacrifice takes place in 1715, in France, England and Scotland.Lady Blythe’s father is declared an enemy of the British crown, and she is forced to flee her home and take refuge in the tower of a castle in Scotland.
