We are looking forward to celebrating the beauty of life and community at Gathering of the Tribes… you are invited to join us!Gathering of the Tribes was created for those of us living in Community, wanting to live in Community, or interested in learning more about what it is all about. Essentially a networking and connection event, here we weave with brothers and sisters from all over San Diego to connect the dots between all of us who are actively building the New Earth.
Instead of gathering on the 3rd Saturday this month and next, we are aligning the events to fall on the weekend after the holidays. For Thanksgiving, so much food gets prepared and not always consumed, leaving us with a bounty of food to not only share with our community/chosen family at the potluck 'Friendsgiving' style, but also provides a bounty for composting! Be sure to collect all your scraps acquired from preparing food and all your leftovers, and anything that is not shared during the potluck will be going towards this month's hands on project: composting. Learn from our host, Stephan about different styles of composting, and get experience in the process. This 'Bring your leftovers Compost Party' is actually an annual offering of Living Joy's!
Bring your own reusable plate, cup and utensils for the potluck - and something to sit on like a cushion, blanket or chair - and your instruments. You may want to bring some layers if it gets chilly.
Please also bring an open heart ready to connect with nature, spirit and commUnity!

These are family friendly gatherings, children are welcome - so much of this about honoring our 7 generations. No drugs or alcohol please.

Gathering of the Tribes is an opportunity for you to come together with like-minded people to cultivate deep connection and build community. Some of our key interests as a group are land stewardship, environmental sustainability, regeneration, resilience, social justice, permaculture, natural building, organic gardening/farming, bee keeping, holistic health, healing, life as ceremony, plant allies, spiritual connection, meditation, prayer, music, yoga, dance, life guided by purpose, seva, whole systems design, intentional community and ecovillage development.
We gather in person on the 3rd Saturday of the month (unless otherwise scheduled). Please read through all of the information on the website for details, there is important information to be aware of before arrival.
