Artist Talk & Indigenous Engineering Lab
This evening program begins with a conversational artist talk between Jill Price and Cathie Jamieson, focusing on their respective relationships to land, material gathering, and transformation. Following the discussion, participants will take part in an “Indigenous Engineering” lab—a creative, open-ended making session using a combination of natural and found materials.Participants will be invited to construct an object, tool, or sculpture, then share their process and intention with the group. This program emphasizes improvisation, relational thinking, and material storytelling.
About the $5 Fee
This fee is designed to cover the cost of materials, and to ensure folks attend. If the fee is a barrier to participating, please email [email protected] and she will gladly give you a ticket to attend at no cost.
