Gather to Give Series: Celebration!

Gather with us at the Tecumseh Musgrove + Company location (135 E. Chicago Blvd., Tecumseh) to celebrate the last day of our Knit + Crochet with Purpose Drive. Enjoy a cozy night of knitting, crocheting, and sewing as we finish up our projects together during a community-wide craft-along.

We also invite you to attend so that we can celebrate YOU and the generosity of our crafting community. We can’t wait to meet you, craft with you, and then thank you by spoiling you a bit. You’ll be able to enter a free raffle to win gifts like a Strawberry Blue Farm Yarn Basket, Musgrove + Company coffee gift, and more!

As part of our Fourth Annual Knit + Crochet with Purpose we are delighted to introduce our Gather to Give Series. Gather to Give is a series of FREE events where participants will learn how to make and collectively create port pillows. A port pillow is a small pillow that attaches to a car’s seatbelt to protect and cushion a chemotherapy port. The ports can be very painful to the touch. The port pillow shields the port from pain, pressure, and rubbing during car rides. These pillows can be easily knitted, crocheted or sewn. From now to April 7, we will be collecting knitted and crocheted items for local organizations. Don’t know how to knit or crochet but would still like to help? Check out the additional items that can be donated to give your support. This year we’ve also added an opportunity for the sewing crowd. We will be collecting port pillows that will be donated to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatments. We will be hosting a series of free events called the Gather to Give Series where participants can learn how to sew, crochet, and knit these helpful little pillows. (See below for more information.)

All donations can be dropped off at both the Adrian and Tecumseh Musgrove + Company locations (135 E Chicago Blvd., Tecumseh and 110 West Maumee St., Adrian).

You may also drop donations at The Matthews House Shop (127 E. Chicago Blvd., Tecumseh) and receive 10% off your purchase. (Valid day of donation and excludes consigned items.
