We are so excited to announce our FRIDAY SUNDOWN IN THE VINES with COLONEL MUSTARD bringing the tunes, gathering at Kies Family Wines on Friday the 10th of April from 5pm FOR GATHER BAROSSA.Think ice cold bubbles or award winning wines, live music and Barossa Valley Platter Boxes brimming with local produce, all at golden hour and chilled vibes.
LOCAL MARKETS: We will be showcasing the products of some amazing local market stall holders.
This is a family friendly event and your fur family members are also welcome. Children under 18 are free.
FOOD & WINE:
- Indulge in our mouth watering selection of delicious treats and healthy eats from The Monkey Nut Cafe:
- Kies Wines, local craft beer and cocktails will be served from 5pm
Our epic FRIDAY SUNDOWN IN THE VINES event IS ONLY $10 PER TICKET, which includes:
- Your very own souvenir Kies Family Wines branded plastic picnic style wine glass

Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions so far:
1. Dietary Requirements: We will provide a menu in the coming months that has varied menu options to cater for different dietary requirements.
2. Outside food and drink: As we have a cellar door and cafe, we don’t allow outside food and drink to be bought in.
3. Cost: Tickets are only $10 – yipppee! 😆🥂
4. To bring:
– Feel free to bring along all members of the family, young and old. This is a family friendly event.
– Warm clothing.
5. Opening times for the cellar door: The cellar door will be open from 9am – 6:30pm on Friday
6. Opening times for the Monkey Nut Cafe: The Cafe is open from 11am on Friday and will close at the conclusion of the Friday Sundown in the Vines event.
7. Music: From 5pm we will have live music playing for you to enjoy!
