You might have seen some of my Facebook posts, or maybe we've chatted over the last few weeks. There is a lot going on and many people are feeling overwhelmed! The Treehouse is a safe space for kids, but it is also a safe space for adults. We will be hosting Gather and Grow Fridays for us to come together to share stories and fears, but also to share resources and steps. This will be a place to help support each other when we are overwhelmed and continue on a path of ongoing support and activism. One of the first things I'll share is a helpful list of ideas for navigating our lives right now from a sociologist: on her list is BUILD COMMUNITY!

(I am planning to focus on supporting LGBTQ and particularly gender non-conforming youth in an upcoming session)
