GATHAA First Nations Markets is bringing our community together at the Hope Dreaming Visitor Centre for the GATHAA One Mob Market in the spirit of Reconciliation.
It’s a morning to come together, yarn, support First Nations businesses and spend time learning and sharing on Country. You’ll find artists, makers, bushfood, music and cultural dance and activities all led by First Nations people.
GATHAA markets are about creating space for First Nations entrepreneurs, artists and knowledge holders to share what they do with the wider community in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
What’s happening on the day
🖤 First Nations stalls selling art, jewellery, bushfoods, clothing, homewares and more
🎶 Live music by Grace Alexandra throughout the morning
🖤 Triballink cultural dance performance
🌿 Bushfood demonstrations and tastings with Tanika Orr, Nooks and Cooks
🎨 Cultural hat burning workshop (ticketed event limited spots)
🎶 Weaving Circle with Hannah Jones, Yuluwirri Weaving
🪃 Fellas Didge Circle with deadly Daz Smith
🥘 Food trucks serving up native flavours & coffee
