Gateway Weeklong Residential Retreat

Location

The Gateway Voyage will take place July 31 - August 6, 2026, at the Sanctum Retreat Centre in Caroline, Alberta, Canada.

This is a residential, immersive retreat, meaning participants stay on site for the full duration of the program.

Sanctum Retreat Centre is approximately 1.5 hours from Calgary International Airport, and transportation to and from the airport will be arranged if needed.

Cost & Currency

For the Canadian offering, the price is listed in Canadian Dollars. The total cost is $3,350 CAD and you may secure your space with a deposit of $500.00 with the remainder due by June 15, 2026. 

The Monroe Institute lists the program at $2,695 USD.

Focus of the Program & OBE Exploration

Gateway Voyage is designed to support exploration of expanded states of consciousness, including deep meditation states, heightened awareness, and non-physical perception.

While there are no guarantees or expectations placed on any specific outcome, the program does include exercises that are commonly associated with:

• Expanded awareness
• Deep states of focus
• Exploration beyond the physical senses

Some participants have experienced out-of-body states, while others have equally meaningful experiences of insight, clarity, healing, or profound inner awareness. Gateway is suitable for both beginners and those with prior meditation experience, and each participant’s experience unfolds in a way that is unique and personal.

Program Flow

We begin on July 31, 2026 at 4:00 pm, allowing time for arrival, settling in, and supper together.

From August 1, days begin after breakfast and include several guided Gateway sessions spaced throughout the day, with breaks for meals, rest, and integration. Most evenings conclude after supper, allowing time for reflection and rest. The retreat concludes after breakfast on August 6, 2026.

Accommodations & Meals

Your registration includes:

• Comfortable on-site accommodations
• A limited number of queen rooms with private ensuite bathrooms (assigned on a first-come basis)
• All other participants will have private rooms with shared bathrooms
• All meals for the duration of the retreat
