A 1/2 mile or 1 mile leashed dog walk to benefit - America's VetDogs - a not for profit that provides guide and service dogs to disabled veterans at no cost - and raise funds for Staten Island Charities.

In Memory of SSG. Michael Ollis.

Our annual dog walk is a special tribute to the memory of SSG. Michael Ollis, a true hero who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. By participating in this event, you'll not only have a fantastic time but also support a worthy cause.

Located at Wolfe's Pond Park *** 420 Cornelia Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10312 *** - this event promises to be a "pawsitively" delightful experience for dog lovers of all ages. Bring your furry companion along and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the beautiful surroundings while making new friends along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to socialize, meet other dog owners, and share your love for our canine companions.

Don't forget to dress up your dog in their most adorable costume! We'll have a "Best-Dressed Dog Contest" - So, get creative and let your pup's personality shine!

Please join us - Sunday September 28th at Wolfe's Pond Park for The Gateway Rotary 8th Annual Dog Walk in Memory of SSG. Michael Ollis - for a fun filled day with family, friends, and your Best Four-Legged Little Friend - walking through the park - raising funds for a very good cause!

Dog Contests will follow the walk !

Contests :

* A Face Only A Mother Could Love - For dogs similar to Pugs, Bulldogs, Boxers - etc.

* The Dapper Doggie Award - For best Dressed Male Dog

* The Doggie Diva Award - For Best Dressed Female Dog

CEREMONY BEGINS : 9:00 AM

All Dogs will receive -

* American Flag Bandana

* Gateway Rotary Dog Walk Bib

* Certificate of Achievement - To proudly display for helping his fellow dog and man !
