Gary was pursuing a music career in Nashville in 1973 but God was pursuing him! He was saved that year in a tent revival put on by Christ is the Answer founder Bill Lowery. After being “born again” he laid down music aspirations to start his family and insurance agency. Five kids and twelve grandkids later, he resides in Maryville just outside Knoxville,Tn. He’s experienced God in many ways through the years on praise/worship teams and being used in healing and prophetic ministry. He received some training through the late John Wimber, founder of Vineyard churches. After the Toronto Blessing revival in 1994, he and his oldest son were privileged to minister in Russia.Now, at age 72, God has given him a “thumbs up” to resume his passion of writing, singing, performing music and sharing the love of Jesus as Holy Spirit leads. He currently partners with a friend every Thursday night on a radio broadcast on WKXV 900AM at 5:30pm called “I Met Jesus There.”
