Gargoyles in the Rafters are an alternative rock band that likes to record and perform in ye olde churches of York. The line up of Tom (vocals and guitar), Alexis (vocals, keys, clarinet and pipe organ), Oli (bass) and Phil (drums) aim to tailor their sound and lyrical content to these reverberant spaces. While spanning a wide range of styles and influences, from angsty rock to melancholy ballads, funky jams to choral harmonies, GitR explore themes of creation, relationships, existential dread and redemption. #realreverbThis event is 16 and over.
