Gareth Hanrahan and Thomas D. Lee in conversation with Sarah Rees Brennan
About this Event
We are thrilled to welcome Gareth Hanrahan, Thomas D. Lee and Sarah Rees Brennan for a fantasy writing panel!
Gareth HanrahanGareth Hanrahan's three-month break from computer programming to concentrate on writing has now lasted twenty years and counting. He's written more tabletop gaming books than he can readily recall, by virtue of the alchemical transmutation of tea and guilt into words. He lives in Ireland with his family.
Thomas D. LeeThomas D. Lee is an author of fantastical and historical fiction. In 2019 he completed an MA in Creative Writing at the University of Manchester's Centre for New Writing. He has now embarked upon a PhD at the same institution, specialising in queer interpretations of the Arthurian mythos. He frequently considers emulating Merlin and becoming a hermit in the woods who speaks only in riddles
Sarah Rees BrennanSarah Rees Brennan was born in Ireland by the sea. After world travel and surviving stage 4 cancer, she settled there in the shadow of a 300 year old library. Writing young adult fiction, she was a Lodestar, Mythopoeic and World Fantasy finalist, Carnegie nominee and New York Times bestseller. Long Live Evil is her first adult work; it has been a no. 1 Sunday Times and no. 1 USA Today bestseller.
