Gardening with Nature: Simple Secrets to Houseplant Success

Gain confidence in caring for houseplants with the Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Cumberland County at the “Gardening with Nature: Simple Secrets to Houseplant Success” program on Thursday, September 10, 7:00-8:30pm, in the Community Room at the Cleve J. Fredricksen Library located at 100 N. 19th Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
The evening begins with an introduction to artificial lighting for indoor plants, followed by the keynote presentation, Simple Secrets to Houseplant Success, led by Master Gardeners Marla Miller and David Watts. Learn the fundamentals of light, watering, soil, and routine care that help houseplants flourish. Participants will also explore easy plant propagation techniques, become familiar with ten beginner-friendly houseplants, and gain practical insights into tools and resources that make indoor gardening more successful and enjoyable.
