About this Event

Get ready to become a Pollinator Detective!

In this fun and hands-on class for kids in grades K–5, young gardeners will explore the colorful world of flowers and the amazing creatures they attract. Through interactive activities and close-up investigations, we’ll discover which blooms bring hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and songbirds into the garden, and why these important pollinators help our world thrive.

Kids will sketch their own flower discoveries, learn how different pollinators use plants for food and shelter, and then head out on a guided exploration of our perennial area with their grown-ups to spot real-life pollinator favorites in bloom. Perfect for curious kids who love nature, flowers, bugs, birds, and getting their hands involved in the garden!
