Gardening for Nature
About this Event
Join Garden Organic and Rugby Borough Council for a free event focusing on how we can all look after nature in our outdoor spaces. Whether you have a large garden or a few plant pots outside your door, we can all take action to benefit nature and make every garden matter.
This event will involve hands on activities for all ages highlighting practical ways everyone can make a difference. There will also be free refreshments available throughout the event, because of this we do ask that you book a space. We will be running a sign in desk.
The activities will be themed around:
- Building and maintaining soil health
- Encouraging Biodiversity
- Using resources responsibly
- Creating a balanced environment
- Maintaining a healthy growing area

9:45 Doors open
10:05 event begins, welcome talks
10:20-13:00 family friendly events
13:00-13:30 optional networking
Sunday 13th September, 9:45-13:00 at the Hoskyn Community Centre.
There is limited parking available at the Hoskyn Community Centre, we ask that this parking is left for those with disabilities and mobility needs. There is free parking available at Westway Car park , 7 mins walk along Corporation Rd.
