OUR PANELLISTS:
DAVID LEWIS is a highly respected gardener known for his
transformative work at The Roof Gardens in London, Kasbah
Tamadot in Morocco, and The Laskett Herefordshire. In the UK, he
is celebrated for refined planting, horticultural excellence, and long.
SUE NEAVE retrained as a garden designer in her fifties, after a career in textiles and has run Hope House Gardens for 25 years, building gardens all over Britain and France.
Sue opened her own garden in Caistor for the NGS many times and still takes commissions and consulting from her new house in
Cleethorpes where she now has a concrete courtyard surrounded by trellis with climbers and a hundred pots!
PAM TATAM married a Lincolnshire farmer in the mid 70’s, providing a wonderful opportunity to set up and run a small plant nursery. Over 30 plus years the nursery expanded and grew an ever-increasing range of hardy, mainly herbaceous, plants. Alongside the nursery, the garden was developed for customers and visitors to walk round. Thirteen years ago, Pam decided to close the nursery and retire. However, Pam’s wonderful garden is still open for visitors as she endeavours to simplify some of
the more labour-intensive areas. Gardening never stays still!
SUE HOY An obsession with gardening led to Sue being asked to give talks and run courses. After gaining qualifications, she began lecturing at Bishop Burton College and helped set up degree courses. Sue took up the dream job of head gardener at Normanby Hall, where she also lectured for the RHS and wrote for national and local publications.
