About this Event
Speakers: Christina Buse and David Dobson
Gardens support memories, identity and social connections for those living with dementia, yet they also present unique challenges.
Drawing on the ESRC-funded project ‘My Home, My Garden Story’, sociologists Christina Buse and David Dobson of the University of York explore the ‘garden stories’ of people living at home with dementia.
As well as a talk, our event includes an exhibition featuring sketches by artist Lynne Chapman. Why not come along and add your own reflections to the display?
The talk is pre-bookable, but you can drop in to see the exhibition in the Garden Room anytime between 11.30am and 4pm.
