Join Jablon Studios for a creative evening supporting the Friends of the Vestal Carousel 🎠.
A portion of proceeds will help preserve and support this beloved local landmark.
🌿 What You’re Making:
Create a beautiful glass fused garden stake designed for your garden, flower pots, porch, or outdoor space.
Choose your shape:
• 6" circle
• 10" x 3" rectangle
• 2" x 5" rectangle
Each piece will be mounted on a metal stake.
🧱 Built for Outdoors:
• Metal stakes are spray painted black with Rust-Oleum to prevent rust
• Stakes are approximately 2 ft tall
• Designed to be left outside year-round
🧡 What You’ll Learn:
• Safe glass cutting and shaping
• Layering transparent & opaque glass for color and design
• Creating decorative details with frit, stringers, dots & accents
• Color balance and composition
• How kiln firing transforms glass into a smooth, glossy finished piece

🔥 After firing, your piece comes out smooth, glossy, and beautifully fused, creating a vibrant outdoor art piece that will last for years.
🌱 Installation Tip:
If you have rocky soil, buckets with expanding foam anchors can help secure your stake — just ask!
👨👩👧 Great for kids and welcoming to all abilities. No experience necessary.
🛠 Repair Friendly:
If anything ever breaks, we can always fix it at the studio.
📦 Pick-Up Info:
Projects will be ready in approximately 2–3 weeks at Jablon Studios.
🎟 No refunds. If you cannot attend, your project can be completed during one of our 6 Open Studio sessions per week.
