Stained Glass Mosaic on Stone Create a one-of-a-kind mosaic by combining the beauty of stained glass with the natural texture of stone. In this hands-on class, you’ll design and craft a decorative heart mosaic set directly onto a smooth river rock — blending vibrant glass, rich grout tones, and dimensional details for a striking finished piece.
Participants will learn how to safely cut and shape stained glass, arrange geometric mosaic patterns, and adhere glass to a stone surface. You’ll explore color contrast, spacing, and layout techniques before finishing your design with grout and optional metallic accents for added texture and depth.
Each student will leave with a completed mosaic stone perfect for home décor, a garden accent, a paperweight, or a meaningful handmade gift.
No prior experience is required. All materials, tools, and instruction are provided.
This class is ideal for beginners and experienced makers alike who want to experiment with mosaic art in a unique, tactile format.
