Garden of The Selfish Giant

A giant does not want to share his garden with anyone and builds a wall around it to protect it from others. As seasons go by, the Selfish Giant continues guarding his garden, but the children find a hole to get in regardless, and the garden comes alive, as if it has been longing for the children's presence. The Giant is furious at first, but it becomes undeniable that the garden only flourishes when the children are around. Finally realizing this, the Giant demolishes the wall and allows the children to play freely in the garden.

Adapted from Oscar Wilde's book, "The Garden of the Selfish Giant" by Theatre Tempo was awarded "Best Children's Play" at the Kuralay International Festival in 2023 and has been reworked in Russian and Bulgarian. This perfomance is in Russian and English. This performance is recommended for audiences aged 3 and up.

Un géant ne veut partager son jardin avec personne et construit un mur autour pour le protéger des autres. Au fil des saisons, le Géant Égoïste continue de garder son jardin, mais les enfants trouvent un trou pour y entrer malgré tout, et le jardin s'anime, comme s'il avait attendu la présence des enfants. Le Géant est furieux au début, mais il devient indéniable que le jardin ne fleurit que lorsque les enfants sont présents. Réalisant finalement cela, le Géant démolit le mur et permet aux enfants de jouer librement dans le jardin.

Adaptée du livre d'Oscar Wilde, "Le Jardin du Géant Égoïste" par Théâtre Tempo a été récompensée comme "Meilleure Pièce pour Enfants" au Festival International Kuralay en 2023 et a été retravaillée en russe et en bulgare. Cette représentation est en russe et en anglais. Cette représentation est recommandée pour les enfants de 3 ans et plus.
