FRIDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER, Garden Gigs have put together a line up to keep you laughing for weeks and teamed up with The Hidden Ivy to create a night worth talking about - and most definitely to return to!
With a licensed bar, you will be able to keep topped up on your bubbly belly laughs throughout the night as you walk into an outdoor, undercover and heated (if necessary!) secret garden, to take your seats and welcome to the stage the incredible line up that awaits you.
After the show, the venue opens up for you to unwind outside in the twinkling lights of The Hidden Ivy Garden Bar where there will be great end of Summer vibes.
THE LINE UP
HEADLINER: JOE MCTERNAN
Joe is a Edinburgh based comedian and has toured with the very best Tom Stade. His energetic and personal style has gained him bookings at all the gigs across the UK.
He has gained over 40 million views on his socials with his character based sketches and having over 200,000 followers, Joe is an online sensation. His latest 2023 Edinburgh Fringe show was a complete sell out run with 4 and 5 star reviews.
He has also performed on BBC Scotland's Television show 'The Comedy Underground', starred and co-wrote (Scottish Comedy Award winning) the online sitcom M.U.F.F alongside Daniel Sloss and has written and performed in content for BBC Short Stuff. Recently starred in three Spec savers online adverts, HSBC UK and a main character in Xero advert.

MC: JON PEARSON
Jon began stand up comedy in 2010, with his first performance at Birmingham’s Highlight Comedy Club. Cut to nine years later and Jon has become a regular face on the circuit, performing at prestigious clubs such as The Glee, The Boat Show, Up The Creek, Last Laugh, Laughterhouse. Jon’s career has even taken him overseas with performances in Spain, Norway and even as far away as Wigan (it is like being on another planet).
Jon is also a familiar face on at comedy festivals across the UK having taken three solo shows to the Leicester, Nottingham & Edinburgh festivals with the highlight of the all coming in the form of a sold out show at his home town Melton Theatre in Melton Mowbray.
Jon has also provided tour support for Darren Harriot on his UK 2018/2019 tour and Lucy Porter on her UK 2017 tour
Jon’s laid back storytelling has audiences hanging on his every word. With tales based around his own life experiences, his anecdotes are relatable and certain to have people in hysterics. Abi’s performing career spans over a decade. From comedian to singer, actress to presenter; be it a comedy club, radio, live theatre, TV or on the big screen, she has consistently strived to entertain and make an audience feel at ease.
Abi’s passion for comedy writing and performing began with ‘Newsrevue’ – the world’s longest running comedy shows which has an alumnus of the likes of Sarah Pasco, Alistair McGowan and Bill Bailey.
Abi was introduced fully to the stand up comedy world in 2018 and alongside her trusted ukulele for moral support, she hasn’t looked back.
She has competed in many prolific competitions and has supported the likes of Simon Brodkin & Stephen K Amos. Abi has appeared on BBC1, ITV2 and SKY 1, where she played Cassandra Laggatt-Brown in Agatha Raisin & The Deadly Dance – appearing alongside Ashley Jensen, Matt Horne and Adam Garcia.
