Whether you’re planning to get hands-on or work with a professional landscaper, this 4-week course will give you the confidence to bring your garden vision to life and ensure it reflects your home and lifestyle.You’ll learn core design principles, explore planting plans and garden styles, and gain practical knowledge in waterwise garden design, soil improvement and growing your own vegetables.

WEEK 2
- The garden design process from concept to plan
- Using colour, line and form in the garden

- Plant selection basics
- Exploring garden themes and styles
WEEK 3
- Developing a planting plan
- Waterwise plant selection and irrigation basics
- Choosing plants for difficult areas
- Growing your own vegetables
- Soil improvement techniques
WEEK 4
- Developing your final plan
- Hardscaping: paths, paving, walls and surfaces
- Garden accessories and focal points
- Estimating project costs and next steps
