🌼 About Garden ClubMrs Mily is excited to kick off our Garden Club for the season! Students will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty, learn about growing food, and work together in our school garden.
👨👩👧👦 Parents are always welcome to join us, but students may participate even if a parent is unable to attend.
🍎 An after‑school snack will be provided for students.
🧺 What We’ll Be Planting
(Vegetables & herbs – 3 per row)
Cucumbers · Celery · Broccoli
Cauliflower · Peppers · Carrots
Spinach · Tomato starters · Basil starter
Sweet peas · Snap peas · Potatoes
Cilantro · Green onions • Dill and more.
🥚 If you have extra egg cartons at home, please send them with your student
— 12‑ or 18‑count cartons work best. Students will take them home 🌱 to watch their seeds grow.
🏡 If planting at home isn’t an option, students can bring the cartons back to school once the plants have 3–5 leaves 🌿
