Garbage Olympics- City wide clean up. Sept 13 10am to Noon. Garfield team meets at Hillcrest and N Aiken. Renee Robinson is team leader.
The 9th Annual Pittsburgh Garbage Olympics will be held on Saturday, September 13th, 2025, pitting neighborhoods against each other in a two-hour competition to collect the most litter. The event encourages community pride and aims to improve neighborhood cleanliness, with volunteers competing for awards and attending a closing ceremony with food and awards at Velum Fermentation in the South Side.
Each year the Pittsburgh Garbage Olympics pits neighborhood against neighborhood in this competitive clean up event. This year we are hoping to reach 60 teams/neighborhood participants to have see who can claim the top prize of cleaning up the most amount of litter!

The clean up is from 10 AM to 12 PM, with our Closing Ceremonies including food, drinks, and awards happening at Velum Fermentation starting at 1 PM!
