Ganas Happy Hour - Tackling Education Deserts

Aside from this being an excuse to see your lovely faces, I'm looking for Ganas alumni who are willing to share your stories to advocate for policy that's going to be introduced by Senator Coleman in the next couple of weeks to address education deserts in Colorado.

Education Deserts are zip codes where less than one in three students have a spot at a "Green" rated school. Sadly, 46 zip codes across the state of Colorado qualify as education deserts.

I would love to have you join us regardless of whether or not you decide to stand with us as an advocate on this issue! I wanted to take some time to informally share more about the issue, the policy, and ways you all might engage at the grassroots level, and I thought doing that over food/beer would be better than Zoom. It's also a great opportunity to catch up and connect with other Ganas alum!

Time is flexible, so don't worry if you can't join us right at 5:30! If you're unable to make it, but still might be interested in getting involved, email or text me and I'll share more!
