Are you interested in working in games? Or maybe you just like playing games - that's fine too.
If you identify as a woman or other marginalized identity (nonbinary, agender, etc.), this may be the place for you!
Brewed Battles is happy to welcome game writer Kate Gray, and her lovely brain (and equally lovely stack of games) for an evening of socializing and gaming!
The shop has a small selection of board games available to play as well, including a broad selection of versus video games on Nintendo Switch 2. If you have a favourite game you want to share with people, feel free to bring it along!

If I'm a cis man, can I still come?
Everyone is welcome, and we won’t turn anyone with a ticket away, or make you feel unwelcome — but this is an event intended primarily for those who may not have a lot of opportunity to be around predominantly other women, queer people, and other marginalised identities, so their comfort is our priority!
If you are enticed by the idea of playing games and hanging out, there are also many more similar events at the same location that you can attend at other times!
