#GamesUR Conference 2026
About this Event
The #GamesUR Conference is the annual gathering of the Games User Research community — for practitioners working across console, PC, mobile, and academia. We also welcome anyone who wants to know more about the games user research discipline. This event is run by volunteers from the IGDA Games User Research SIG, with support from IGDA and IGDA Finland. This year, we will have a lineup of incredible Games User Research talks across 2 days.
For the #GamesUR Conference 2026, we’re excited to bring you a conference in Helsinki on October 22–23, 2026, at Solo Sokos Hotel Pier 4.

Oct. 23rd: 09:00-18:30 (UTC+3)
The first day includes networking time following the talks.
Lunch, as well as morning and afternoon coffee and tea service will be provided on both days.
We’re also proud to join forces with Finnish Games Week 2026, alongside events including Leadership Day by IGDA Finland, Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki, W Love Games, and more — giving attendees the opportunity to take part in a full week of industry events and networking.
